A Nonya-Peranakan dish which my grandma used to cook when I was young. This dish can be found at the Peranakan Flavours Restaurant @ Ardennes Hotel, Singapore. It is a meatball, roughly the size of a golf ball in a bowl of soup. Here is how Makansutra describes it, "...rough looking golf ball redolent with chopped shrimps, crab meat, some turnips and minced pork held firmly together in a broth made by blending shrimp head and flower crabs shells." This is one of those dishes which just brings back memories of childhood, not unlike the French dish, Ratatouille, in the Disney cartoon by the same name.
